If Skeptics Claim That God Doesn't Live, Why Do They Hate Him So Much?

For years skeptics claim that God doesn't live and yet, they get their noses out of joint when we share the love of Christ. Why?

How can Skeptics hate someone they claim isn't there? Why do they hate us for sharing Him on here? What's the big deal?

Another thing is: they've been hollering for proof that God lives and when they get it, they reject it? Where's the logic in that?

And yet, when we challenge them to present proof of what they're claiming is true, they get their noses out of joint in frustration and start to mock and ridicule us hoping we will go away. We will not go away.

Why can't the skeptics prove their claims are true instead of arguing with us about them? Is it really that hard for them to do?

Remember, in a discussion, we try to get at what's right but in an argument, we try to get at who's right. In this fallen world of ours there is only the Truth of God and the lies of men. You share the Truth, you're right - you push the lie, you're wrong. It's that simple.

Have you ever (I know you can relate to this because it's happened to almost everyone, me too) wanted something so much that you just can't live without it, then when you can't have it, you just can't believe it and go onward as though it's still yours?

That's called "Denial," and it's one of those psychological states, like depression, that we cannot overcome without intervention by some other force (human or otherwise).
Thus, the 'non-believers' (atheists, agnostics, satanists, etc.) are so ingrained in their thought patterns that they simply can't analyze the evidence that exists all around them. I won't get deeply into political conspiracy theories = but they too are an example of how people come to 'believe' what they believe and they can't be shaken from it. "Stalkers' (people who become infatuated with other people) are another example of living in denial.

True but Jesus can break through denials and set those people straight.
@GodSpeed63 No, he cannot.

Prove it.
@GodSpeed63 Very well. I hereby officially ask Jesus Christ to break through my skepticism and doubt with a miracle calculated to convince me of his reality.
@GodSpeed63 How strange. Nothing happened. Your move.
@GodSpeed63 For the record, it has been 5 hours, and still nothing has happened.

For the record, it has been 5 hours, and you haven't come up with any kind of support for what you claim is true.
@GodSpeed63 I just proved your claim to be false. I tested it by asking Jesus Christ to break through my skepticism and doubt and provide a miracle which I would be unable to deny. He did no such thing. This indicates that he cannot do so.

Where?
@GodSpeed63 You can sit there with your eyes closed, shouting at the darkness, but the fact of the matter is, you made the claim that Jesus Christ could and would break through my skepticism and doubt and prove himself to me. I asked him to do so, and he did not. I must conclude that either he cannot do as you claim, or he chooses to turn his back on me, which means that his love is not unconditional.

You lose.

So?
@GodSpeed63 He did not. You lied.

No he can’t

@DocSavage
No he can’t
Neither can you, Doc, so the Truth remains that God lives and His Word is Truth.

Doesn’t work like that. God isn’t right by default when he can’t even prove that he himself exist.
And since we have proven the book of Genesis to be full of lies, it’s obvious he couldn’t be trusted if he did exist.

He already did prove that He lives, Doc, you just chose to believe that He doesn't live is all.

@GodSpeed63
No, your so called proof came from the bible, which as I pointed out earlier, lies from the very first page. Has to be a lie, because according to you god can’t be wrong.

I proved you a liar over a month ago.

How'd you do that?
@GodSpeed63 I proved that you were lying about the main point of this post, by asking God and Jesus to please break through my skepticism. They did nothing. You are a liar.

They will, in their time and in their way.
@GodSpeed63 It has been a month. Nothing has happened. How many decades must I wait?
