If Skeptics Claim That God Doesn't Live, Why Do They Hate Him So Much?

For years skeptics claim that God doesn't live and yet, they get their noses out of joint when we share the love of Christ. Why?

How can Skeptics hate someone they claim isn't there? Why do they hate us for sharing Him on here? What's the big deal?

Another thing is: they've been hollering for proof that God lives and when they get it, they reject it? Where's the logic in that?

And yet, when we challenge them to present proof of what they're claiming is true, they get their noses out of joint in frustration and start to mock and ridicule us hoping we will go away. We will not go away.

Why can't the skeptics prove their claims are true instead of arguing with us about them? Is it really that hard for them to do?

Remember, in a discussion, we try to get at what's right but in an argument, we try to get at who's right. In this fallen world of ours there is only the Truth of God and the lies of men. You share the Truth, you're right - you push the lie, you're wrong. It's that simple.

I don't believe that the majority of 'non-believers' despise God. They simply despise some 'believers' attitudes. My way or the high way approach. Their contempt and disrespect towards other's beliefs. On a humne level, there is a lack of tolerance and acceptance. These things are felt abhorrent.

If they loved God, then they would love us as well for sharing His love for others. People do have a right believe what they wish but are responsible to believe in the Truth of God rather than the lies of men.

@GodSpeed63 Throughout history, men have lied in the name of God. They offered their vision of reality as God's. It's difficult to blame a historian or scientist for being skeptical.

Consider the atrocities performed during the Crusades. Torture, rape, theft, pillage, and murder are all synonymous with the crusade. They were led in the name of God by the church. They cited the same Bible we have now. In the name of God, they justified their acts.

And justified the acts as God's truth. These are available as documented history
