If Skeptics Claim That God Doesn't Live, Why Do They Hate Him So Much?

For years skeptics claim that God doesn't live and yet, they get their noses out of joint when we share the love of Christ. Why?

How can Skeptics hate someone they claim isn't there? Why do they hate us for sharing Him on here? What's the big deal?

Another thing is: they've been hollering for proof that God lives and when they get it, they reject it? Where's the logic in that?

And yet, when we challenge them to present proof of what they're claiming is true, they get their noses out of joint in frustration and start to mock and ridicule us hoping we will go away. We will not go away.

Why can't the skeptics prove their claims are true instead of arguing with us about them? Is it really that hard for them to do?

Remember, in a discussion, we try to get at what's right but in an argument, we try to get at who's right. In this fallen world of ours there is only the Truth of God and the lies of men. You share the Truth, you're right - you push the lie, you're wrong. It's that simple.

I do not believe God exists.

I do not hate a non-existant being.

People who believe in God do exist.

Many of those people try to get various rules from their belief system instituted into law.

Some of those rules are bad. Some of those rules don't make sense. Many of those rules are unnecessary.

For the same reasons you probably do not want to live under Sharia Law, we do not want to live under Biblical Law.

You don't get to assert you have the truth without proving it. I am a skeptic because believers have not provided proof sufficient to convince me.

I do not hate God. I do not believe in God. Because I do not believe in God, it is stupid to follow the rules laid out in holy books simply because they exist in holy books. Therefore, it is in my best interest to provide counterclaims so that people who see the messages of believers see that there is dissent and that their word is not agreed upon truth.

Is that explanation simple enough?
