The Lie: There Are Many Paths To God - The Truth: Jesus Is The Only Way To God

We could say that Jesus is the Bridge of bridges. He paid it all so we wouldn't have to.

There's only one bridge to God, not many.

Remember, other people have different beliefs, different religions. And they believe in their religion just as strongly as you believe in yours.

You can be civilized and choose religious tolerance, i.e. live and let live. Or you can go back to the dark ages and try to force your idea of religion on others. If you take the later course you are in for a whole lot of hurt. I recommend live and let live.

God knows that, and He set one standard for all. His Plan of Salvation. It fits all and was meant for all, universal. John 3:16. God set it. Not man. It's not up to man to change what is God's perfect plan for all.

@LadyGrace You are free to believe in the religion of your choice. Other people have the same freedom.

Recently in San Francisco there was an inter-faith gathering. Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist leaders, peacefully talking together. It was quite nice.
@badminton I'm sure it is and was, yet like I mentioned, I don't set the standard and neither does Godspeed. God set the standard and He said there's only one way to eternal life in heaven, and why man wants to change that, I'll never know. He is God of all and he made one standard for salvation for all. We only needed that one. He made that very clear in His Word. It was Jesus who said there are not many paths to Christ, only one. What's wrong with the one? Nothing. It covers all of mankind and God the Father's the one who created the plan for salvation. If anybody would know how to get to heaven, it would be He. He said we can go ahead and try it another way, but it won't work. He made that plan for a reason. Not to be ignored and so that we wouldn't have to guess about how to have salvation. He was very firm about how to get to heaven and he said it cannot be done by earning our way or by good works or Good Deeds. It's not about religion or denomination at all. Not! People don't have to follow His plan, but He said you won't make it to Heaven any other way. HE said that. I trust Him, over man-made philosophy, any day.

Yes, that sounds wonderful, and every one of those people, if they follow God's plan, will get to heaven. God said so.

@LadyGrace Fine. Just remember other people do not accept that you speak for God.

I'm not trying to talk you out of your religion. I just want to know that you respect the First Article of the Bill of Rights, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." As long as you respect the secular nature of our public institutions we are OK.
@badminton Don't be such a baby. God made the rule, not me. Get that through your thick skull. God speaks for himself. Take it up with him. You should be honest and just say you don't want to follow God's standard for salvation. Plain and simple.

Why do you christians alway have to resort to silly insults? Is because you don't have anything worthwhile to offer?
