The Lie: There Are Many Paths To God - The Truth: Jesus Is The Only Way To God

We could say that Jesus is the Bridge of bridges. He paid it all so we wouldn't have to.

There's only one bridge to God, not many.

Well you better go out there and make sure all the people know not only His name but Him.

All the people who are different from you, the LBQTI+ people, the trans people, the people in countries who are dying of hunger and thirst before they reach adulthood or even adolescence.

They are all God's creatures, but apparently, they need to know a formula to get back to Him!

I always thought Salvation was God's gift, didn't know He delegated it to anyone to define or limit it.

By the Way He did say those words, but He didn't limit the ways in which people could proclaim Him. You lot did in about 1880!

"So, in order to have a good relationship with God, we must also have a good relationship with the rest of humanity, else we are not doing the will of God.

Simply attempting to have a right relationship with God and neglecting our duty to the poor, sick and other people that need help is essentially a sin."

He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:

“‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’[b]

8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” Mk. 7.

You'll have to take that up with God, who set the standard for salvation. He set one standard for all. His Plan of Salvation. It fits all and was meant for all, universal. John 3:16 says it does. God set it. Not man. It's not up to man to change what is God's perfect plan for all.

Denomination has nothing whatsoever to do with salvation. His plan was for all, not just some, and not just some who go to church or whatever. Salvation is not based on our performance/good works or self effort. It IS a gift. You can't earn a gift, but you can accept it and receive it.

@LadyGrace He set the standard. No, you have interpreted the Bible to set a standard that you are comfortable with.

I haven't mentioned any denomination or different belief style.

I have mentioned people with lifestyles that "Real" Christians seem to reject.

It is God's salvation, I thought He used whoever or whatever was available. Can't he rely on you?

Or don't you have any responsibility for bringing people to God?
@Zeusdelight I guess you can't read the Bible then, can you? So what, if you didn't mention about denominations? I did. Your reply makes no sense at all, because you are going directly against what God said was His standard for salvation in His Word, which I repeated FROM His Word. It seems you have a different idea of what salvation is. Here's what you said:
They are all God's creatures, but apparently, they need to know a formula to get back to Him!
Well apparently they do, and that "formula" is God's standard for salvation, which HE stated what that standard is, in the Bible, and which I quoted from His Word, so I don't see what the problem is. Which gospel are you teaching? God's standard fits all.

@LadyGrace Attack the person - Can't read, reply makes no sense, going directly against what God said - next of course, is where you Damn me.

I can read the Bible and I can contextualize a number of different parts with the linguistic style and historicity of the people who wrote it.

I am sorry that you cannot afford the respect to its Word.

What do you do for the suffering in the world? Apart from attacking people here?

Stand down, mister, LadyGrace meant no harm. You forget one thing, there's only one interpretation to God's Word and that belongs to Him, and only to Him and whomever He wishes to share it with. Okay?
@Zeusdelight well you missed my whole point. Had nothing to do with your spelling. You were attacking Godspeed and also God and Christians so that's why I changed the subject that's all. My whole point was, it's fine if you want to discuss your differences regarding the post or whatever, but at least be polite and don't downgrade Christians or god. You could just simply say I don't believe this way because, and then go on from there. There's no need to attack people. That's what I was trying to show you. I don't know why you feel the need to attack people on here. So as you can see, you can dish it out but you can't take it. That was my point. So how about we just discuss things without the necessity of arguing.

@LadyGrace Did you read my response? Did you read someone saying stand down Mister?

You attacked me - I quoted you back at you, and yet you didn't understand. I have no idea where you were trying to be polite to me or show me politeness.

And then I am told "Stand down Mister" as if some like you can attack but are incapable of having comments questioning them.

And I will not stand down here for any person.

But I would love to know where I downgraded Christians or God.

Spelling, I did not mention.

And again you have not answered my question about the poor and suffering.

Typical christian. Arrogant and dictatorial. Who the Hell do you think you are?
