The Lie: There Are Many Paths To God - The Truth: Jesus Is The Only Way To God

We could say that Jesus is the Bridge of bridges. He paid it all so we wouldn't have to.

There's only one bridge to God, not many.

Jesus is the ONLY way.

@graphite No, God is not Jesus. He was a prophet and he stated that "we are all sons of God" meaning we were no less than Jesus.

@acpguy “I and the Father are one.” John 10:30;

“I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” John 8:58

@acpguy Right you are! The Church created the "Holy Trinity" - Jesus taught us to pray: "Our Father who art in heaven...." He did not include himself and he always asked (prayed to) his Father (God) for guidance. It wasn't until the Church decided it needed to reconcile Christianity as a singular faith (read about the Nicean Council) because various preachers were preaching various distortions on what happened in Jesus' life and death.
As for the writings in the Bible.... take them as guidelines for your life - Again... It was the Church who sanctified them as Holy. *no need here for a 'cleansing' criticism*.. I know that by some accounts I'm blaspheming.... but I can accept that. I believe in God my Father and I believe in Jesus the Christ as his holy Son and my path toward my life in God's favour. I just do not believe ALL of the words that were written by basically honest men several centuries after Jesus' time from dreams and recollections to ONLY the best of their abilities.

You're wrong there!! The church didn't create anything.

@GodSpeed63 OK.... It's your call! Where did the Holy Trinity come from? Who said it was a 'Holy Trinity' - I'll need a quote.

They were always here, they are here and they will always be here. God's Word testifies to the truth of the Trinity. Matthew 28: 18-20. Look it up.

That doesn't prove anything. You're whistling in the wind, Lee.

@MasterLee
Christian science is not science
According to whom?
call me skeptical
Better than calling you an atheist.

@MasterLee
why?
Atheists are skeptics who are dead in the ground underneath their headstones. You're still walking around.
graphite · 61-69, M
@GodSpeed63 Nobody talks about Jesus and God more than atheists. Go Figure. "I don't believe! I don't believe! Let me shout it a few more times - I don't believe! Did you hear me!"

@MasterLee
your point?
You can't be an atheist if you're not dead.
