The Lie: God Sends People To Hell - The Truth: God Grants Those People Their Hearts' Desire

Again I ask:

Those who choose to die in their sins, choose hell over a loving God. Where's the logic or reason in that?

The Truth: It's God's desire that none of us be lost but all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

@BlueSkyKing According to some denominations, everyone who is not saved is destined for hell, even if they never heard of Jesus. So that means, the moment Jesus died on the cross, suddenly everyone on earth who died without having heard of him was eternally damned. That would be the logical conclusion.
@LeopoldBloom True. If so, it’s obvious that a tiny fraction of the past, present, and future population will measure up to the required resurrection belief.

I don't put my trust in denominations, I put my trust in Jesus Christ. Religion can't save you but Jesus can save you, if you'd let Him.
@GodSpeed63 Do you believe that people who never heard of Jesus are going to hell?

If I have to "let" Jesus save me, that means I'm stronger than he is.

It's God's decision, not mine.
If I have to "let" Jesus save me, that means I'm stronger than he is.
You got that backwards, Leopold, Jesus saves you because you're weaker than He is.
@GodSpeed63 So billions of people who had the bad luck to either live before Jesus was born, or never heard of him because news of him didn't reach them in time, are in hell. Sounds fair.

If I'm able to resist Jesus, and he can't save me if I don't want to be saved, that means I'm stronger than he is.

Wrong again. People who put their trust in God before Christ is in heaven.

Wrong again. It just means that you're making yourself out to be more of fool than you already are.
@GodSpeed63
People who put their trust in God before Christ is in heaven.
So every religious person who lived before Jesus is in heaven? Including pagans, idol worshippers, and other people who never heard of the God of the Bible?

What about people who never heard of Jesus over the past 2000 years? It's only within the last few centuries that Christianity has at least become known. But if you are a typical person in a Muslim or Buddhist or Hindu country, you're not going to get much information about Jesus. So you're saying, as long as those people follow their religion sincerely, they go to heaven? But the moment a missionary shows up and says "Jesus saves," if they don't immediately convert, they go to hell?

I won't respond to your last sentence as you clearly aren't capable of understanding what I'm saying, so I won't waste any more time trying to explain it.

You need to get religion off the brain. It's not what I said.
@GodSpeed63 So answer, what happened to people who lived before Jesus, and what happens to people who lived after him but never heard of him?
