Are Catholics, Jews, Mormons considered Christians?

Please don’t take offense… I’m very ignorant when it comes to religions.

As far as Born Again, Evangelical Christians are concerned, only Born Again, Evangelical "Christians" are true Christians.

All other denominations, are not true to Christianity.

And it goes without saying, Jews are not Christian. They are, Jews.

I think we need to get that definition straight. Christians believe as Jesus taught in His Word..... that anyone who comes to Jesus and invites Him into their hearts and lives as Savior, are Christians....followers of Christ....no matter their denomination. Salvation has nothing to do with religion for the denominations of this world.

@LadyGrace And your definition is the very definition of what's considered "born again", hence my classification.
@Northwest Your wording sort of made it sound like you think that Christians think they are the only ones going to heaven. There will be people saved and going to heaven all over the world. What I'm getting at is no certain denomination can say that their Church and their beliefs are the only way because salvation has nothing to do with religion or denominations is my point. It is what Jesus says that counts. That is why I point to what he says about how to have salvation. Thanks.

That's exactly what they believe. As in the only way to make it into heaven, is to accept Jesus. That's what the born agains believe.

How low of you to twist my words. If you're going to quote me, then quote me right because I never said that Christians are the only ones going to heaven....You did....so stop twisting my words. People from all over the world will be saved and like I said, salvation has absolutely nothing to do with religion or one's performance. JESUS said that unless we come to Him for salvation, we cannot be forgiven or saved. People don't set the standard for salvation, God already did that and he doesn't need our help. Nor did God give man the authority to change his Plan of Salvation so if you have a problem with that I suggest you talk with Him.

@LadyGrace you’re coming unglued.

It’s really very simple: do born agains believe that salvation comes ONLY through accepting Jesus? It’s a simple yes or no.
@Northwest I may love to shop but I will never buy your manipulative attempts. Nice try.

It IS very simple. Jesus said salvation comes ONLY through Him. It couldn't get more simple than that, and I agree with Him. If anyone would know, He would. His Father created the plan of salvation.

If you are so inclined, you can find the answer by reading Revelation chapters 20, 21, and 22 = https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=revelation+20-22&version=NKJV
