Why does everyone believe in God

Most people believe because they are afraid of not believing. Fear of the unknown. Some believe because they have gone through something and think they pulled through not by their our strength and fortitude but because of something outside of themselves. Others because it gives them hope because to believe we really are here for nothing but to do the song and dance of life and death can be very daunting and dreadful. Like why even bother. I don’t know what I believe at this point. How I see it is we are all micros from a whole macro that’s been placed her to have a human experience whichever way we decide that goes. There’s consequences for every action whether good or bad. And this knowing is enough for me. I don’t need to go into who or what the macro is because I don’t know and I’m not going to drive myself crazy anymore trying to figure out which theory makes more sense. All I know is I give thanks and gratitude to nature for all that I can see and benefit from. I hope all is well with you!
