My mother took us to church when I was a child. When we were teens, she allowed us to decide if we wanted to go or not. I was having too much fun doing things the preacher said were bad so I stopped going, fast forward 30 years or so, and I am in my mid 50s and going back to church. The childhood fairy tale God has been replaced by a new understanding of God based on my experiences and life. My faith gives me hope for a better tomorrow.
