Belief Follows Truth. God Wins In The End And So Do Those Who Choose To Believe In Him.

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.

Romans 8:37
In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Amen!

You really are scraping the bottom of the barrel if you think quotes from a book of fairy tales prove your imaginary friend is real.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@Lynda70 Do you really really believe that your snide comments about "fairy tales" and some "imaginary friend" that you have invented will have the slightest effect on a person whose faith is based on knowledge of the living God? They won't work!

It's as if someone tried to persuade you that covid gene therapy injections are not safe and not effective, and are the tool of higher authorities with sinister aims! It wouldn't work!
Lynda70 · F
@WalterF Of course not, he's too far divorced from reality. Pointing out that his claims are no more than unsupported opinions might save some people from being deceived though. You arrogantly refer to "knowledge of the living God". There are thousands of gods whom members of other religions believe in, there's nothing special about yours and his.

Sharon · F
@Lynda70 That and childish insults are all these bible thumpers have to offer.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@Lynda70 Your argument achieves nothing of value.

The arrogance here seems to be yours, as you rubbish other people's experience. Were they attacking you? No. Then why are you attacking them? Is that not arrogance?
@WalterF What experience? He just floods this site with his BS claims. He just posted a few quotes from his little book of fairy tales, arrogantly implying that they prove his god is real. You then refer to "knowledge of the living God" as if it's a proven fact when it's really just your belief. That's the sort of arrogance that typifies christianity. As @Sharon said, that's all you have to offer.
Lynda70 · F
@WalterF He and a few other christians here devote a lot of time and effort attacking everyone who doesn't believe in their god. They don't like reaping what they sow. They get really upset when others do unto them what they do unto others.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@Lynda70 I just saw a post stating a Christian position. Fair enough. If people are not interested, they can ignore and pass on.

If someone challenges others, then they must expect flak in return.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@NortiusMaximus NOBODY except you is talking about PROOF!

Do you not see that if man could "prove" God, then man would himself be the god that he already thinks he is?
Lynda70 · F
@WalterF
If someone challenges others, then they must expect flak in return.
Exactly! If he wants his opinions or quotes from a book to be accepted as fact, he needs to present some supporting evidence. Simply repeating the same claim just doesn't cut it.
@WalterF If there's no evidence supporting the claim that his god is real, it can't have any effect on us. He's just whistling in the wind.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@NortiusMaximus Then, ignore? Why add grief for yourself, when you can just pass by, as disdainfully as you want!

Dignified behaviour on your part would be to just ignore, not get a fit of the screaming abdabs!
@WalterF
Why add grief for yourself,
I could ask you the same thing. If you can't stand criticism, just ignore it.
not get a fit of the screaming abdabs!
LOL! Looks like you're projecting now. Pointing out simple facts is not "a fit of the screaming abdabs!" in the real, adult, world. Maybe it is in yours.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@NortiusMaximus Yes, as you imply, my mental age is 7.

Did you find screaming fit in my replies? Identify, please. I need "proof" here.
@WalterF
my mental age is 7.
I can well believe it.
Did you find screaming fit in my replies?
Did you find it in mine? If so, point out where; if not explain why you implied I had "a fit of the screaming abdabs!"
I need "proof" here.
Really? Isn't "faith" sufficient?
WalterF · 70-79, M
@NortiusMaximus You are now resorting to insult. Bad sign.

" That's the sort of arrogance that typifies christianity. As said, that's all you have to offer."

Those are your words. Typical of those in the "fact checker-dependent" category. No doubt your fact-checker certainty leads you to deny the evidence of the tens of thousands of scientists worldwide who refute the claims of infallibility for the covid injections.

You find "arrogance", and nothing to offer, in Christianity. That's your position. And that's YOUR problem, not mine.

So, enough of your insults. Goodbye, and good luck with your god-free life.
@WalterF Where did I resort to insult? Pointing out a fact, no matter how unplatable you find it, in not an insult. Also, when you quote someone, don't omit words mid-quote. I pointed out that "That's the sort of arrogance that typifies christianity. As Sharon said, that's all you have to offer."
to deny the evidence of the tens of thousands of scientists worldwide
I do not deny evidence, I just question unsupported claims.
good luck with your god-free life.
My god-free life is very pleasant thank you. Some of the most unhappy, bitter and hateful people I've had the misfortune to encounter are christians.
Sharon · F
@NortiusMaximus Christians frequently accuse others of what they do themselves. :(
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@NortiusMaximus So you choose to believe the priests (AKA scientists) of your religion (scientism) instead of texts that have been around for thousands of years and never disproven. Your 'science' changes with the wind and is prone to scam and mass death. Christianity is best exemplified by such dangerous radicals as Mennonites.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@NortiusMaximus You are obviously a screwed-up, bitter person. Take your bile elsewhere? Take it out on Dr Fauci, for example? A would-be god, declaring "I am the science" while committing fraud and murder to enrich himself. Now there's a cause worthy of your bile!
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@WalterF one thing about it, it sure scares the hell out of non-believers 🙂
@WalterF
You are obviously a screwed-up, bitter person
Not half as screwed up as you. You really ought to seek professional help for your hatred before you seriously hurt people.
Sharon · F
@NortiusMaximus He really is screwed up. Someone must have really hurt him at some point in his life. We ought to feel sorry for him but it's difficult to feel sorry for anyone that full of hate.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Christians frequently accuse others of what they do themselves.
If that were the case, Sharon, you'd be saved by now.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@NortiusMaximus Insult, insult, insult.

"Is that all you have?" as you lot say.

Oh, by the way - you've just registered your next ultra-woke fact-checker narrative-supporting idiocy: that I am "harming people". How pathetic that idea is! It makes people into spineless idiots who are tempted to slit their wrists because somebody dares to make a comment they disagree with!

If you knew how many grannies I have killed by my words on here! ("Killing granny" - I learned that one from my contact with the snowflake mentality)
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 Saved from what? Evangelical christians like you? Your imaginary friend (that thing you call Yahweh in case you've forgotten again) is the problem, not the solution.
