Do monks and nuns live long lives because they are alone a lot and not putting up with stress from other people?

I would feel like a prison in that lifestyle

It's not enough to just survive if you're not living imo...

Simple diet, regular habits, no over indulgence.

Theirs is a healthy life till they live, from what little I have seen due to the discipline they religiously follow.

It's probably because they stay clear from drugs and don't do any dangerous activities that real life requires.
