Belief Follows Truth

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37-39

The truth is that God did not create mankind to hate itself and Him but that we should love one another as He has loved us and to love Him with everlasting love.

10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:10-16

God is Love. There's no denying that.

9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another. John 15:11-17

Jesus is our Savior and Lord and has the right to command us to love one another. Is that so hard to receive? Which is more powerful, love or hate? You decide.

Fact is we don’t need Jesus or god to tell us these thing’s anymore. Neither said or did anything about slavery. We figured it out ourselves, it just took longer to convince some more than others. Shows that society can evolve morality over time, and do better than god.

So where is the lame ass YouTube video ? We already know you’re incapable of an original thought. Where’s your muse ?

Thats not my problem.. Thats your eternal problem.. You rejecting the message of the bible proves yourself an enemy of the message of the Bible
Yeah, it is your problem. Yahweh needs to pick more credible messengers.
You really suck at it. If you can’t tell the truth yourself, you can’t be trusted with the “truth”
It’s not the message, it’s you we don’t believe.

Bullshit even for a Christian, that is the lamest excuse yet.
You don’t have to prove your claim, because the claim is self evident.
You are just a hypocritical, lying sack of shit.

I have no idea why you think i would spend so much time dedicated to sharing the Gospel and at the same time telling lies ? What would be the point? If i think belief in God was a lie then why would i do this?? I am obtaining no monetary or material benefit from sharing the Gospel.. You may think i am mistaken and i would understand you saying such a thing.. But a lying sack of shit?? Makes no logical sense.. I could understand such an accusation if i was some kind of prosperity preacher who was running a mega church and raking in the donations for sea side mansions and a private Learjet.. But as i am now it just does not make any sense.. You can believe i am wrong and mistaken but not a liar.. I really do genuinely believe in the LORD, The God of Abraham..

And I did in fact meet my burden of proof. What you classify as god, does not, and can not meet any realist, practical, physical, or for that matter metaphysical standard of existence.

Scientific forms of observation and measurement can only ever affirm or eliminate the possibility of the existence of things within the universe.. But God who existed before this universe came into existence and therefore exists in His eternal state of being outside the universe cannot be debunked by science nor can He be affirmed by science.. And that's the way God wants it.. He wants people to be drawn by His Message , given to us through His prophets and in the case of Jesus from Him..

As for your Bible quotes.. It's all down to the way you read and interpret scriptures.. The earth is fixed in it's orbit around the sun it has been this way for a very long time and will remain fixed in it's orbit for a very long time to come.. See you have probably interpreted the Fixed word to men that the earth does not move that the Bible is stating that it is locked into a static position..

Let it go, Lauren, you've lost, according to your game, even before you started.

@GodSpeed63 I'm not playing a game. Merely pointing out that you're an utter, utter balloon.

I feel sorry for people like you, Lauren. You never speak the truth. Why do you keep trying to discredit the Word of God and those who are believers?

Nope, belief follows evidence. Write back when you get some.

@GodSpeed63 You get more ridiculous with every post. Don't you realize you're just making a fool of yourself?

If Yahweh is so concerned about the truth. Then why , back in biblical times, didn’t he put any effort into educating the rest of the world to his “truth” ? China, Japan, Europe, the Americans, all had his children living there. The one true god, belongs to all of humanity, not just Abraham and his little piece of dirt.
He’s supposed to be an omnipresence . Yet it never occurred to visit the rest of the world, while so many millions of people were making up their own gods, and their own rules without his loving guidance.
Did he think they would abandon thousands of years of culture and tradition just on your say so ?

I'm thrilled you have your beliefs. Leave them at home.

Interesting statement. People follow many beliefs. And there may be contradictions in what few people believe over the other. In that context can we say that all beliefs follow the truth ? What is your take on this.

People follow many beliefs.

Not all beliefs follow the Truth of God which God has established before the foundations of the world.
DocSavage · M
@GodSpeed63
Not all beliefs follow the Truth of God

So, now you’re saying that belief does not follow truth. That truth has to be established, then, and only then does it earn belief. Claims that are not true, should not be believed. Henceforth, the need for evidence.

Not only have you just agreed with my standards, you also refuted your own claim. Your belief follows faith, not truth. As faith ignores all evidence against it.
If you’re doing god’s talking, he better go dig up Mortimer Snerd. You’re the wrong type of dummy.
