Did God Really Create Everything In Six Days?

As for me and my brothers and sisters in Christ, we know and believe that His Word is the truth.

As for Skeptics, they need to believe that this is not true in order to fit it into their agenda. They believe that it took billions of years for all this to come into existence being that they claim that God doesn't live and His Word is not true. Yet, they have failed to produce any kind of evidence or facts to support what they believe. And yet, they instead, choose to bombard us with ridicule, mocking, and insults because they can't comprehend the one true God as an all powerful being who can create such a vast universe and an earth that can support life.

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
The Gospel of John 1:1-5

Why can't skeptics support their claims; or rather, why do they choose not to support them? Are they ashamed of their belief system knowing that what they're believing is a lie? I have observed that when the skeptics are confronted with the truth, they run. They make up excuse after excuse as to why they run and then they start ridiculing us for what we know and believe is true. They bombard us with mocking thinking that this makes them better than us. In reality, all their ridicule and mocking makes them look like spoiled children with ignorance as their education. This is a highly illogical tactic in that it defeats their purpose and makes them foolish.

20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Romans 1:20 & 21

Hatred has been known to distort the human mind and wisdom is replaced by foolishness. Skeptics and religious fanatics are a good example of that. God didn't create us to hate one another or to hate Him. He created us to love Him and to love one another. This was His perfect plan from the beginning and it will be His perfect plan in the end.
What if God's day was longer or different than ours?
According to the fairy tale the Sun and the Moon and all of the stars didn't get made until the fourth day, Since we tell time by the Sun and the Moon what was used to tell time for the first three days?

@Diotrephes You think God needed a watch?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Diotrephes first of all it is NOT a fairytale. 2Peter 3:8. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
God definitely uses a different time schedule than we do.

Until you've shown the account is a fairy tale, the Genesis account is true and cannot be changed.

@Diotrephes I don't know, but you made the point of the question at the beginning of your question.
@Baremine You quote Peter which isn’t part of the Bible. With magical claims being made throughout, it all reads like mythology or a fairytale.

Time is a man made concept. Look at the history of calendars Time zones were created because of transportation issues, particularly the railways.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@BlueSkyKing 1&2 Peter are in the New Testament towards the end.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Baremine According to contemporary Jews, the world will end in about 218 years, when their calendar reaches the year 6000 per their reckoning. They will then take over the world, or what's left of it. So, if you are OK with that then continue to believe their fairy tale but if you are not a member, things won't be nice for you if it's true.

The more I discuss this issue with believers, the more convinced I am that they are mentally ill.

@GodSpeed63 Can you list one ____ fairy tale you don't believe in?

The fairy tale of evolution.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 So, you admit that you believe in fairy tales but you don't believe in reality. Even the Bible says that you shouldn't believe in silly fairy tales.

1 Timothy 4:7 (TLB) = "Don’t waste time arguing over foolish ideas and silly myths and legends. Spend your time and energy in the exercise of keeping spiritually fit."

The Bible is composed of silly myths and legends.

Myth = "a person or thing having only an imaginary or unverifiable existence
= the Superman myth
= the unicorn is a myth."
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/myth

Legend = "a story coming down from the past
especially : one popularly regarded as historical although not verifiable"

If the Jesus character was still wiggling on the cross there could be a basis for your belief. After all, it has only been two days God time, right?

Or you can prove that you have faith in Jesus by walking outside and commanding the nearest tree to uproot itself and to jump into the nearest body of water. If it does as you command without any outside help you will be the first person in history who has ever had faith in Jesus. But remember, none of his apostles ever did that and neither did Jesus. So, here's your opportunity to be the first person in all of history to ever show by his actions what a person who has faith in Jesus can do. He said you can do it so was he lying or do you lack faith?

Then why do you believe in the fairy tale of evolution?
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 All matter evolves. Celestial hydrogen form huge balls that go nuclear, forming stars. The hydrogen is transformed into heavier elements. The stars go nova and the ejected material forms planets. The cores of some planets, like ours, cook up new elements. When conditions are right inorganic compounds become organic and life is created. Over the eons the basic life forms change and become more complex. Eventually some of the life forms will become intelligent and able to interact with each other and one such life form may even evolve to the point where it wonders where everything came from. Of course even some of the intelligent life forms are dumber than inorganic rocks and just consume resources without contributing anything of value. Primarily they believe in silly ancient ethnocentric Middle Eastern religious fairy tales based upon a magical deity and his alleged son. They call the son by a phony name a couple of con men cooked up around 1630 A.D.

@Diotrephes
All matter evolves.
Not an answer.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 All matter evolves except for some people who are stuck in the past of 250,000 years ago. They should be intelligent but they are not and still have the minds of humanoids of 250,000 years ago. They would be perfectly at home in the far distant past because the modern world is far too complex for their simple minds to comprehend.

@GodSpeed63 What was the question?
