@redredred Because in the time of Moses, classification of animals were done by function or form. In the case of a bat, the word we render birds meant simply “owner of a wing” which includes birds, bats, and certain insects. The Bible does not use modern biological classifications which are found in our literature today but rather uses what was commonly known in the ancient times.

Every so-called "contradictions" in the Bible aren't contradictions at all, that many would discover, had they done some study.

@redredred No errors in the Bible. It is Gods word. We can misinterpret a verse but with a lot of study God reveals the truth. The Bible is much more substantiated than any other book in the world, going back that far in history.

You keep putting a question mark, where God puts a period. When He said He prepared the Kingdom of Heaven for us, so that where He is, we may also be, that's what He meant. That was a promise we can depend on. God is incapable of error.

Something has to be bothering you, or you wouldn't be so mean all the time and trying to hurt people just deliberately trying to hurt people and you're angry 24/7. This is not normal. Maybe to you I'm pissing my life away as you put it, but if I want to do that, what is it to you? You don't have to live for me. I love my life and I enjoy serving the Lord, after all He has done for me and He saved my daughter from dying. But I don't love the Lord for what He can give me. I love Him for who He is, and for saving my life. He is enough, just as He is, because he is Love personified, and you will not find that kind of love, anywhere in this evil world. And though you may hate Him or just plain don't believe in Him, that does not change the fact that HE loves you with all his heart and soul and mind and nothing will ever change that. Nothing. If you want to be concerned about something be concerned about helping the poor and doing good things in this world. I've seen plenty of people that have anger problems like this and it is caused from a hormonal imbalance and doctors can help. And all cussing out that you do towards me and others, that does not phase me. That does not change who I am or what I do. It's just words, and it makes you look worse than it does me. It's just pointless. They make no difference. Whether I was a Christian or not they would not make any difference. You should see that. Use all that energy to do something good. You talk about a waste of time, that is a waste of time. I don't know who would enjoy being angry 24/7. It's not good for your health, it's not good for your body. It is a miserable way to live. A person just can't enjoy life like that. I'm not mad at you when you curse at me. So there's no point. I don't like what you say and do with all the cursing and anger, but I do care about you as a person. And it doesn't matter whether you believe that or not. It shows no self-control when you come on here and we're all wanting to discuss with you, but boy ...right away, you got your dukes up ready to fight and curse. Does that sound reasonable to you? It would be really nice to have a conversation with you without all that unnecessary stuff. There's nothing at all to gain by that.
