If thousand years is like a day to God, then Adam was created after 5000 years ( Please check the snapshot of this video). Since Adam, only a thousand years is passed if we are to believe that we are yet to go into the 7th day. Jesus is said to have born around 2000 year back. So then Adam to Jesus to present timeline is somewhere flawed.

Thank you for asking more about this. The 7-day week is a mini model of the entire timeline of the history of man and a timeline of the Bible in its entirety; from when God made the world, to when he comes back.

God did not have to make the world in 6 days and rest on day 7. So why did he do that?

He did that to show his power, and to make a mini timeline of the entire human lifetime for us so we know where we[i] are[/i] in history and to know what comes next. God is good and does not leave us in the dark.

From Adam to Abraham is 2000 years, from Abraham to Jesus is 2000 years, from Jesus to now is 2000 years. That is 6000 years. After that comes rest from this world because Jesus is coming back.

@Carazaa Thank you for those 18 points. I guess this is some communication you received from some priest. I do not deny any of these points. I have absolutely no knowledge about Bible.
I liked the way you related the 7 day of creation to the 7 days of the week. That sounded interesting and made sense too. I do not deny the 7 days of creation theory too.

However the point I was mentioning was not about creation or salvation. You have elaborated the 6000 years, which I agree( as per this video). I have taken a snapshot from the video shared in this post(Please find the same below).
Now if Adam to Jesus to now is 6000 years ( which happened on the 6th day) , what about the previous 5 days ? In that sense it clearly proves that 6 Days of creation is not equivalent to 6000 years. So that argument is flawed.

I am not a Catholic, I just read the Bible, but I do listen to some preachers and Bible scholars, and we are finding out new information all the time from Gods word especially about Gods timetable. Jesus said that knowledge would increase in the last days. I try to understand Gods meaning. What happened the first 5 days? He worked! He did a lot he created the heavens and the earth, If he can work we should too.

Agreed. He created heavens and the earth. But point is that atleast 5000 years have passed by then (if one day of God is 1000 years as you had mentioned before). This again doesn't sound logical because we saw 6th day itself is more than 6000 years.

If that is the case then either the 7 day creation theory doesn't make any sense ( which can't be as per Christian religious belief) or the age of earth is not just 6000 years ( this could be because even there is no proper Biblical reference anyone has quoted to substantiate this argument).

If a day is strictly like a 1000 years in history Adam to Jesus to now should be approximately 1000 years. That is not the case and hence the earth has to be way older than 6000 years.

@SW-User No its 6000 years from Adam to now according to the Bible if we study the Bible carefully. God tells us the name of every family until Jesus. Read Matthew 1.

@Carazaa I agree that Bible do mention it is somewhere over 6000 years from Adam to now( That's what the video says). However if that is true then the earth is way older than 6000 years. Both cannot be true at the same time because it is mathematically invalid.

@SW-User I am sorry, God is using his 24 hour, 7 day creation to show us his 7000 year time line, as well as to show us how to work and when to rest. God does this over and over in the Bible, usually telling a story 3 or 4 times in different ways. It can take a few years to understand a passage. It took until just recently to understand the Bible timeline, because Daniels books meaning was recently revealed to us by God. This generation has learned what no other generation knew. God hid it. Now it is relevant.

@Carazaa That sounds interesting. Wonder how God is revealing things 2000 years after Jesus. Is Daniel still living? Agreed Bible might represent some complex concepts, which need multiple readings. Having said that I disagree with the 7000 year time line ( To me it looks like a human misinterpretation.)

I am hoping that with more and more meanings being uncovered and the continuing revelations, it is quite possible that even Christians might agree that the Bible support the evolution theory in days to come.

You can hope all you want but the Bible is exact in its timeline. People who say oh the Bible is vague just don't read it in detail. People don't really trust that God inspired every word. Scientists are highly influenced by other scientists.

God puts us through a test in this life. He tested Adam and Eve. He tested Job, and he tests us! I will err on the side of trusting God. If I am wrong i am wrong. I just can't take a chance on being wrong and facing Jesus and feel ashamed, nope I take him at his word.

God is revealing a lot by his spirit for those who ask him for truth!

@Carazaa I am not hoping or assuming anything, instead drawing the most logical conclusion out of whatever data you and the video in this post explained.
If humans are created on the 6th Day ( 24 hours day, simultaneously stating that it is equivalent to a 1000 years), and also stating that Adam to now is 6000 years. Irrespective of whether it is a 24 hour day or a day equivalent to a 1000 years, it is absolutely clear that earth being around 6000 years old is a false claim. It is just a basic Math and not very difficult to arrive to a conclusion. I would be interested if you could provide me a clear reasoning. I am not saying that Bible is vague or what Bible says is wrong and I respect your belief, however unfortunately so far during my discussion whoever supports this 6000 year old earth claim couldn't provide me a valid reasoning.
I appreciate the references you shared though. However I am sorry to say that it didn't answer my question.
I also do not want to interfere in anyone's matter of faith or religious belief and I am not trying to test God or the Bible. Comments were out of curiosity and I am sorry if it hurt anyone's sentiments.

Scholars with PHD's and the most educated understand that this book is given to humanity from God! And the most blessed people in the world, and the most blessed countries in the world are Christian countries!
