Serious Question: Do Fundamentalist Christians actually believe that stars will "fall from the sky" during the second coming

Of course stars have been used as a symbolic representation of Angels.. And in the Book of Revelation revealed that in the end times The Angel Micheal will lead 2/3rds of the Angels in Heave will fight and defeat satan and his 1/3 of Angels and have victory over them and cast them out of heaven and down to earth and satan shall have great anger because he will know his time is short...

But that does not mean the prophecy does not also have a literal element to it.. I believe the prophecies in the book of Revelation show a major meteor impact on earth that will destroy 1/3rd of the worlds surface and will trigger the largest earthquake ever experienced by human beings on earth.. The impact will eject many tons of debris into near earth orbit and it will be the re-entry of this debris that will fulfill the stars falling from heaven prophecy in the book of Revelation..

As for the fallen angels they will also be released from the bottomless pit. The ones who came down to earth in ancient times and had hybrid children with human woman and where cast into the pit for their deeds will be released for a time at the end and will cause great suffering on earth as part of the out pouring of the wrath of the Lamb..

So the prophecy has both Symbolic and Literal elements to it.. Mocking either element is self defeating..

Oh and salvation is 100% by Faith.. Not works.. Now that is an issue of salvational importance i believe..

So your a preterist.. Well we shall have to disagree on that one.. to believe such an interpretation much of the book of Revelation has to be symbolized even prophecies that are clearly literal must be forced to be symbolized to force it to fit the events of 70AD..

For instance mankind did not experience the greatest earthquake in human history in 70AD..

I choose to make my foundation the actual prophecies in the Bible on the matter..

Like 1/3rd of all the plants /grass /trees in the world where not burnt up on earth during 70'ad.. 1/3rd of the sea's of the world did not become as blood in 70AD and people did not die in great numbers because they where forced to drink waters contaminated by the Wormwood impact in 70AD.. So many thing have to be forced into symbolism when you believe in a 70AD fulfillment of the prophecies in the book of Revelation..
