Is Russell Brand dangerous?

So I've seen some videos of him and he says some interesting things about the vaccines and Rona and stuff like that but at the same time he does seem a bit culty...

For one thing he has hair and a beard just like Jesus and also he often wears tie dye tops and is gesticulating a lot as though hes trying to hypnotise people....

I don't think his type of brainwashing skills will work on me because I'm anchored pretty good but he could be dangerous to other people.

But who should fear him the most, Christians or the Atheists? He fully acknowledges he has a spiritual side and I think he might be a Buddhist or Elephant worshipers or one of those ones...

So would an Atheist want to stop Russell Brand more desperately than some who likes Jesus?

Excellent comment and you're right on the nut. He's gone down a rabbit hole and has taken a lot of impressionable people, apparently those who need enemies and be told what to think, with him. He's become a blatant con man in my opinion but it's bordering on cult leader. And I'm not saying that flippantly.

As an atheist myself, I think ANYONE who tells others what to think is dangerous because it's usually coming from the same place. And there's little doubt that the basic strategies employed by both cult leaders and the religious have a whole lot of overlap. In his case, he has no end game or legitimate calls to action. But that could change.

He is schooled in controlling conversations and various debating strategies and techniques..
He’s an entertainer, so I don’t look to him for advice or direction. What he says means little to me as he is not someone I know personally. I don’t know why anyone would fear him.

People need to stop listening to celebrities like they are God ...it's ridiculous....they are just human like the rest of us

Some people will follow anyone that opens their mouth. Weird!

He speaks a lot of truth, I think anyway 🧐

I think you have a lot to learn.
For a start, the people who have the most interesting things to say about vaccines tend to be dangerous. They'd be more constructive if they wrote sci-fi/thrillers. I don't think there's any reason for a Christian-atheist connection though. An atheist might try to compare him to Christians, but I don't think they'd hazard their credibility on shoehorning him into Christianity
