Changed I most certainly have. Yet not more or less.

I do find serious fault with any form of "organized religion".

Organizated religion I find is just another method of control and has little to do with what they say they are about.

I feel the same about certain atheist organizations!

They also have controlling ulterior motives.

@DeWayfarer I was raised in an organized religion. As I aged I switched to a religion that is more inclusive and more service orientated. This satisfies my need to help others. I also do yoga and meditate this helps still my mind so I can listen. I personally feel that a higher power resides in all of us. We do not need a building to worship but I appreciate how this helps many people who need community.

It's such a personal journey that I find really interesting.

@dontbekoi no idea who you are referring to, yet reminds me of a certain cult that I belonged to back in the 1980s.

That particular cult also did the same in their own homes.

I have experience with both cults and religious organizations.

I grew up knowing Reverend Shuler personally and other religious organizations.

@DeWayfarer I bet you have some interesting stories to tell 😉

@dontbekoi none that I would go in depth into.

Too much dirty laundry to say in public. Much of it not my own.
