Great post.
Many who practide Reiki find that they are empathic, that they sometimes actually feel the pain of others as their own, and also that they sometimes suddenly "just know" something about folks who turn to them for help.
But it isn't only those who have been initiated into Reiki. Our 10-year-old granddaughter was "helping" a Reiki "teacher" in a practice session and, when covering the right knee of the "client" on the table, remarked that that knee had been injured. It turned out that the person had actually been on crutches for a few weeks years earlier because of injury to that knee.
I would understand if such a person said that God told them, just as I would understand if they had heard a voice in their head and said that God told lthem.

@DallasCowboysFan Interesting. Thank you for explaining. Then, it is not a meditative Yoga, per se? I mean, you practice a separate meditation technique?

@Nelladell Yeah, I rest, relax and reflect, asking my angels for any assistance that they think I need.
Unless it is just my limited experience with Vinyasa, I don't think that there is a lot of spirituality associated with it. And nothing extreme. I have balanced my arms on my legs (crow position?) but I am not going to try to stand on my head. I always think I am going to break my neck....lol

@SmallAnnie I never thought about it that way. Who knows, maybe he left it behind.....lol...
He can certainly afford it.....he has a very successful real estate company in the area, serving high end homes.
