Telling it like it is v seeing it as it is

As I see it (!) we ALL tell it as we see it. We are the beings who interpret. Interpretation is what we ARE. We are also the animal that asks questions that cannot be answered.....in words. Our answers are our unique lives. At least, that is how I see it.

Yet often I hear others admire someone - perhaps a politician - for "telling it like it is."

Thinking about it, much 20th century philosophy revolves around such questions. Is there something given prior to our looking, there for us to see? Or not? Are there "facts" at all?

It can seem like a nightmare world, each of us locked within our own subjectivity. Yet we do share our world with others, who also tell it as they see it, live it as they see it.

So.....what is the difference between telling it like it is and seeing it as it is?

How do you see it

The question is what is truth? Truth is always the same. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
