Telling it like it is v seeing it as it is

As I see it (!) we ALL tell it as we see it. We are the beings who interpret. Interpretation is what we ARE. We are also the animal that asks questions that cannot be answered.....in words. Our answers are our unique lives. At least, that is how I see it.

Yet often I hear others admire someone - perhaps a politician - for "telling it like it is."

Thinking about it, much 20th century philosophy revolves around such questions. Is there something given prior to our looking, there for us to see? Or not? Are there "facts" at all?

It can seem like a nightmare world, each of us locked within our own subjectivity. Yet we do share our world with others, who also tell it as they see it, live it as they see it.

So.....what is the difference between telling it like it is and seeing it as it is?

How do you see it

We're not animals, Tariki, we're made in the image and likeness of God as the account in Genesis testifies. There is only one God.

4 I, therefore, the prisoner [a]of the Lord, [b]beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in [c]you all.
Ephesians 4:1-6

There's only one Word of God which is the Holy Bible for God wrote that book through holy men of there time. There is only one interpretation of God's Word and that belongs to God alone and to those whom He reveals it to.

Just thought you should know that.
@GodSpeed63 Thank you for your testimony and declaration of belief.

Christian theologies apparently beyond your own ken distinguish the Living Word and the word as text.

The Living Word is not determined by your experience of time and space.

That we are "animals" is purely descriptive. It excludes no possibility.

Thank you
The question is what is truth? Truth is always the same. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
