How important is religion/spirituality in your romantic connections?

I used to think it wasn't that important but the older I'm getting I'm starting to realise it definitely is. I don't expect the same degrees of faith, nor do I expect exactly the same ideas but I expect mutual understanding. If we're not on the same wavelength there's not gonna be much of a bond there.
