It is true that the universe formed in a complex and unique (how unique? Who knows?) way which eventually fostered the creation of the elements and, eventually, life on earth (among probably many places in the universe). I don’t think the complexity of the universe, in and of itself, proves anything other than the fact that we can’t quite fathom the complexity of the universe. I don’t believe that a supreme being has micromanaged the creation of and ongoing events in the universe. That said, I’ve always been terribly curious about the big bang, and the fact that the universe and all of its energy and matter came from nothing.
