Again, science just keeps pointing to God and always will point to God.

So if the universe were not the way it is, then it would be different?

Wow, that’s deep!! 😂😂

It’s like watching an episode of the Muppets
@newjaninev2 I'm thinking more Teletubbies...they never say anything either

@newjaninev2
It’s like watching an episode of the Muppets
And you're supposed to be a scientist?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 This video clip has nothing to do with science

Are you saying that science is wrong about the The Anthropic Principle?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 The Anthropic Principle isn’t science. It’s anthropocentric trivia.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 if things weren’t the way they are, then things would be different.

So what?

Do you think that’s deep and meaningful in some way?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2
The Anthropic Principle isn’t science.
Why?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 I told you, but I’ll tell you again, because you obviously need someone to pay you some attention

All it says is that if things weren’t the way they are, then things would be different

It’s anthropocentric trivia

What does the order of the universe got to do with your analogy?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 Read this very slowly, and then take some time to think about your answer

If things weren’t the way they are, then things would be different

Is that correct?
Simple yes/no

@newjaninev2
If things weren’t the way they are, then things would be different
You didn't answer my question.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 Astonishing! I actually need to take you through this again, but, well, OK, if I must...

No you don't. When you answer my question, Newjaninev, I'll answer yours. Otherwise, let it go.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 Let me assure you here and now that I will not be letting this go.
What does the order of the universe got to do with your analogy?
Your question refers to an analogy that I apparently made. Which one is that?

Or are you referring to something that doesn’t exist, so that you can run away from a question you can’t answer?

@GodSpeed63 So, let’s see. You asked a question that referred to something I didn’t say, and now you won’t answer any further questions until I answer your question which refers to something I didn’t say.

Tell me, why are you posting on this site?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2
Tell me, why are you posting on this site?
The “anthropic principle”—the idea that the physical features of our world are ideally suited for life on earth—has been an annoyance to those who believe that our universe and life on earth are products of random processes. Indeed, it has been difficult to explain even the physical constants of the universe without resorting to some sort of “intelligent design” position.

Don't tell me that isn't science.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 That isn’t science.

It isn’t anything even remotely like science.

It’s two completely unsupported claims about what some people think
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 Now, to get back to where we were...

If things weren’t the way they are, then things would be different

Is that correct?

@GodSpeed63 If your bot programming can’t handle even a simple question, it’s obviously not very good. Then again, it has never answered even simple questions.
