Yahweh. Murderous genocidal God of the Old Testament,
Jesus came to throw all that over you’ve got a pick , Jesus? Who said to love everyone even if you do not approve of them.Or the Old Testament Murder junkie that told people repeatedly to kill their children sacrifice their daughters to save an angel or just kill everybody they’re all their men all their women all their children all their livestock. Do you not see the conflict between the old and New Testament?

@plaguewatcher actually they are two different covenants. The old testament was law. The new testament is grace. The common thread is FAITH. For by Grace are yes saved through Faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast.

@Baremine Didn’t that Jesus guy say something about being there to enforce the OT laws?
Faith is merely pretending to know something that you don’t, in fact, know. I’d prefer not to base my life on pretence.

@newjaninev2 According to the bible itself: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Literally says that faith is being completely sure of something without being able to provide evidence (observation) of it.
The scientific method is the exact opposite and is the study of things we can see (observe) and have evidence for.
In fact NOT having evidence seems to BE the evidence in this verse. Or as another Christian I heard put it. What is the evidence that there is no evidence?

@canusernamebemyusername Yes, as I said... pretence.
There need not be evidence that there is no evidence, but until there is evidence, any claims may (and should) be disregarded.
