Literally says that faith is being completely sure of something without being able to provide evidence (observation) of it.
The scientific method is the exact opposite and is the study of things we can see (observe) and have evidence for.
In fact NOT having evidence seems to BE the evidence in this verse. Or as another Christian I heard put it. What is the evidence that there is no evidence?

When you can prove what we believe is a lie,
You've proven it your self but your continued refusal to present the evidence you claim to have. You call the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection a lie, despite all the evidence that it's based on, yet you've never offered anything to support that opinion. Typical christian hypocrisy and double standards.
