@Carazaa Do you ignore the real commandments of Exodus 34:28 and Deuteronomy 4:13?
1. Thou shalt worship no other god.
2. Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
3. The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep.
4. Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest.
5. Thou shalt observe the feast of weeks.
6. Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the Lord God.
7. Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven.
8. Neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left until the morning.
9. The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the Lord thy God.
10. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.

@BlueSkyKing those were for the Jews silly 😂

@Carazaa These weren’t additional commandments, Moses brought them down carved by God. What other parts of the Old Testament can we ignore?
In Matthew 19:16 a man asked Jesus how to achieve eternal life and Jesus replied, “Keep the commandments.” The man asked, “Which? Jesus said, “Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” If God had known that “love thy neighbor” was to be one of the biggies, why did he not include it in his Big Ten? Couldn’t the rule about boiling a goat in its mother’s milk be moved somewhere else to make space for it?

@BlueSkyKing What other parts can you ignore? Ignore everything that is ritualistic, like how to cook the meat, how to sacrifize and atone for sin, how to stone sinners, stuff like that, because those things were before Jesus came. Jesus became the slaughtered lamb, our food, our milk, our sin sacrifize. We still deserve punishment for our sins but God puts it on his own shoulders 🙂

@Carazaa Basically toss the Old Testament and just use the New?
Carazaa · F
@BlueSkyKing The old is important for understanding how sinful we are and what we really deserve, and its also prophetic so it proves its Gods voice to the world. Ill copy a prophesy.

In the Book of Daniel God says
"the words are sealed until the end 1290 days . Many will be purified but none of the wicked will understand."

And blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1335 more days.
Daniel 12:12

[big]☝️ So what did God say would be disclosed near the end of time in Daniel 12:9-11?
[/big]
Lets figure it out! What do you think it means? And what is at the end?
In John 2:22 It says that "
anyone denying Christ is antichrist.
"
In Daniel 8 It says "
for 2300 days the sanctuary will be cleansed and trampled under foot.
The abomination that causes desolation spoken in the Book of Daniel 680 BC and again mentioned in the New Testament in Mark and Matthew and The book of Revelation,
"So Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, when you see the abomination that makes desolate."
Islam denies Christ as Gods Son and built a dome of the Rock in Jerusalem in 688.
In Rev 11, It says
"the woman will flee to the wilderness 1260 days"
( if we apply this to years) The Jews were scattered.
In the Psalms God says "
a thousand years is like a day to God."
In AD 333 Alexander the great conquered Conquered the persian Empire. Plus 2300 =1967 peace treaty
688 + 1290= 1978 A peace treaty (UNIFIL)
1260 + 688 = 1948 Israel became a nation
688 Dome was buit + 1335 Daniel 12:12 = 2023 AD

Throw the whole lot away, it's hopelessly out of date.

@Sharon It's not out of date at all. Jesus is mentioning the events in the Bible happening right now in the world. Today there are floods in Europe 20 or so dead, 25000 wild fires in USA, many children and women killed everyday, drought and famines, he told us that the sun would be hotter and hotter. Many understood, but you Sharon, are not paying attention! People are not paying attention.

That biblical "prophecy" was just copied straight from the prophecy of Ragnarök.
but you Sharon, are not paying attention!
LOL! If is you who is not paying attention! You just ignore what you're told, preferring to believe a collection of fairy tales.

@Carazaa When hasn’t there been flooding, fires, earthquakes, droughts, famines, people dying? Every year worldwide, nine million children from babies to age five die. With total indifference from God.
We’re only a asteroid away from ceasing to exist. Not if, but when.

It would be quite remarkable for John of Patmos to know anything about Norse literature, written as it was, many hundreds of years later. Maybe John had a time machine. 🤭
