@QuixoticSoul I have heard arguments made to euthanize disabled people like myself using the same arguments. And in Germany it was not long till that turned into full blown blood purity mania.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow It's a slippery slope, and an absolutely massive jump from preventing people with these kinds of genetic diseases from being born, to euthanizing people against their will. Further, it's stated as a principle instead of policy.

@QuixoticSoul Unfortunately as a disabled person I have seen how easily people can rationalize from defective fetus, to defective child, to defective adults and everything in between.

Robert Latimer used this kind of defense when he force fed his disabled daughter prescription pain killers and fried her brain.
