Gods words to not trust in man, but in The Lord! [Spirituality & Religion]

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
in a salt land where no one lives.

7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17

The simple answer about is God is Good Orderly Direction .
Dont harm people and keep life simple even when your crazy .
I went into religion too much before and being honest I got so overwhelmed with it , it took away my humility. The ego ran riot and it was all fear based but how I realised that was at night I couldn't sleep .
Night time answers all your questions especially with the mind . You can immitate Christ .
I used to be so calm before ,never thought about religious beliefs , never thought about Christ and left life happen and the reason why I said that is if you try hard to find something , you'd loose it and life will pass you by .

@riseofthemachine "Religion" per se is not the same as trusting in The Lord. Knowing God can help us is very calming I think. I meditate on Bible verses like "Be still and know that I am God" "All things work out for good for those who love God"
