Gods words to not trust in man, but in The Lord! [Spirituality & Religion]

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
in a salt land where no one lives.

7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17

Don’t trust man. Or books written by man.

@SirenCalledLuce But you can trust in the Bible with your life! Test it. I have, and God blesses me!

I did. It failed abysmally.
Carazaa · F
@Sharon No you half-assed it!
Sharon · F
@Carazaa You say that because it challenges your beliefs, but you're wrong.

@Sharon I was born again, and then my beliefs changed!
Sharon · F
@Carazaa So? My beliefs have also changed as new or more evidence became available.

@Sharon Sincerely I care about you Sharon, and please be aware that there is an evil spirit in the world an angel, Satan, who is roaming to influence people away from God. His goal is to destroy you. God wants to save you from being destroyed. And God sends people to witness the truth. Satan tries to blind people from the truth.

That's is just your belief. I see no reason to give your beliefs any more credence than the beliefs of others, in fact there are several reasons to give yours less.
to influence people away from God.
Or maybe it your god trying influence people away the their god so as to destroy them. Even your bible relates accounts of the evil wrought by your god.
Satan tries to blind people from the truth.
No! The bible shows how Satan set us free. It is your god who tries to blind people to the truth.
