Do you know that many Bible scholars believe that the 7 year" Great Tribulation" might start this year 2021, and the rapture could happen any time? [Spirituality & Religion]

@Carazaa it's not about looking forward to anything because I am motivated to become better by other things, not by an approaching end of the world. Would you behave differently knowing that the world isn't ending in 7 years then, and if so, how? I think all these theories also want to encourage people to be good, good towards each other and towards the environment etc (for example scientists saying that in 12 years the Earth will be a lot worse if we don't start taking measures now), but making such predictions is taking it too far for me.

@HannibalAteMeOut you know, it's weird, in our religion you don't have to be excessively devoted to a God and only believe in him, as long as you're a good person you'll be fine.

@Carazaa well the christians I know usually say that we need to be good in order to become the perfect humans like God wanted us to and like what Jesus preached, not because we should be afraid of the end. In fact if you behave like Jesus, whether he comes in 7 or in 700 years it would be none of your business 🤷‍♀️ you're just good for the sake of it and because you know what is right. But yeah different christian denominations might have different opinions I guess.

@Carazaa that's cute. Firstly, being bigoted towards Muslims doesn't help your case. Secondly, I'm not Muslim, I'm Zoroastrian and before you denigrate my religion bear in mind yours took s lot of our beliefs and we granted the Jews freedom of religion.

I'd never worship a God that sends people to hell, even if they're good people, just because they didn't believe in him. That's something a sociopath would do it.

@HannibalAteMeOut I am not belonging to any at the time. I go to Baptist, Presbyterian, and non denominational churches. None of the pastors believe that Jesus is coming soon. I am just searching the scriptures and reading Bible myself, and reading and watching Sermons online. Many serious Bible scholars of evangelical nature like Derrik Walker hwo has done hundreds of Bible timeline videos, and got a Math MS degree from Oxford University has been studying Bible timeline his whole life. And many more. Here is a summary from another Bible scholar yesterday.


The Book of Daniel, unsealed. Why we might see him 2028 or sooner, maybe even 2023? Or be raptured 2021?

So what did God say would be disclosed near the end of time in Daniel 12:9-11? Lets figure it out! What do you think it means? And what is at the end?

In Daniel 8 It says for 2300 days the sanctuary will be cleansed and trampled under foot.

Islam denies Christ as Gods Son and built a dome of the Rock in Jerusalem in 688 AD.

In Rev 11, It says the woman will flee to the wilderness 1260 days ( if we apply this to years) The Jews were scattered.

In 333 BC Alexander the great conquered the persian Empire. 333 AD Plus 2300 =1967 peace treaty
