@ozgirl512 No. If I may....religion is just man-made philosophy. Having a personal relationship with Jesus is different. He wants us to know Him on a personal basis, as our friend. Those who have a personal relationship with God, include God in their daily lives. They pray to Him, read His word, and meditate on verses, which helps them to get to know Him even better. There are those who know OF God, but do not have a personal relationship with Him. There's a huge difference. It is a commitment to follow Christ, which creates the bond and experience of knowing Him through the uniting of our Spirit with His.
