The Bible is undeniably a sexist book. It constantly devalues and objectifies women. Is it hard to be a bible-believing Christian and a modern woman? [Spirituality & Religion]

Yeah...modern women certainly have it harder than previous generations...those darn suffragettes...had it easy compared to modern women, plus those women who went to work during the war when those sexist bastard men went to fight the war to save our freedom...nothing compared to modern women.
@DaveyWavey01

lol i understand that you're being sarcastic, i'm just not sure why...
@Pikachu starting off a post claiming the bible is "undeniably" sexist warranted such a reply, in my opinion
@DaveyWavey01

Sorry, i'm still not really clear on the point you're trying to communicate.
@Pikachu the fact you mentioned hard for modern women like everything is hard for them
@DaveyWavey01

So...you're upset by the idea that it might be hard to be a bible believing modern women in terms of reconciling women's position in society with how women are dealt with in the bible?
@Pikachu My questions to you are, why hasn't the bible been considered sexist before now? Why is it this generation, modern women, who have to play the sexism card and apply it to practically everything? Why is this generation as a whole constantly digging things up from the past and slating them with a "can you believe they said this?" approach and as someone else commented "cancel culture" kicks in and suddenly things should be cancelled or viewed differently?

I'm not saying you shouldn't have an opinion, or that it shouldn't be listened to, just you've created a clickbait post which looks like you raised it just to trigger guys and attempt to get us to say something sexist, whereas if a guy raised a post to offend women, it would be reported to admin and deleted.

Who says it wasn't?
It always was and there's nothing wrong with pointing that out.

As for clickbait, i can see that you personally have been triggered on an issue which clearly upsets you but no, asking for women to discuss what it's like to be a woman and a bible believer is not a trap for men lol
@DaveyWavey01 are you a follower of the Bible?
@DaveyWavey01 oh...amd in answer to your query above ...

It's hard to have a voice when you're not allowed the knowledge to get an opinion.
