Unsupported claims and propaganda are not proof. Try again Godspeed.

🤦‍♀️
@Sharon What you see with your eyes and the gr0und beneath your feet is clear evidence of the existence of God.
There is no way this is all is the result of some simple abiogenesis.

Why not? If the universe and everything in it needed a creator which, of necessity, has to be more complex, where did it come from? When you answer that, you then need to show why the much simpler universe could not have occurred in the same manner - thus obviating the need for a creator.
@Sharon Well, this is as far as I can go with rhetorical persuasion, but the likelihood of the complexities of our reality being totally random is as likely as a tornado going through a scrap yard and leaving behind a Lincoln Navigator.
Sharon · F
@puck61 Who says the complexities of our reality is totally random? It's a strawman argument used by creationists.

So consider how much less likely a highly complex creator randomly appearing out of nowhere is.

Where do you think these complexities of our reality come from? Do you know, Sharon?

@GodSpeed63
Where do you think these complexities of our reality come from?
They're built up from simple elements.

I asked @puck61, if the universe and everything in it needed a creator which, of necessity, has to be more complex, where did it come from? When you answer that, you then need to show why the much simpler universe could not have occurred in the same manner - thus obviating the need for a creator.

He apparently had no answer. Can you answer it?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
They're built up from simple elements.
How? Who or what set them in motion? Do you know, Sharon?
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 Answer my question first. When you do, you'll have the answer to yours.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Answer my question first. When you do, you'll have the answer to yours.
You're not going to weasel out of this one, Sharon, you know our answer to your question. Please, answer my questions.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
You're not going to weasel out of this one,
You're the one trying to weasel out. My question is simple enough, where did this creator your creationists keep banging on about come from and why could the more simple universe not have come about the same way?

Now, answer the question or forfeit, Okay.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
You're the one trying to weasel out.
Won't wash. Keep on trying, Sharon.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 I see you've lost again. You're making a habit of it.

@Sharon
I see you've lost again. You're making a habit of it.
Not a chance, Sharon. I'm more than a conqueror on here.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 LOL! You couldn't conquer an unpopulated desert island.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
You couldn't conquer an unpopulated desert island.
My God says otherwise. Keep on trying, Sharon.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@Sharon He just won't answer a direct question, will he.
Sharon · F
@Bushranger No, he just proves he's a liar because he claims he does give straight answers.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
My God says otherwise.
As your god is just a figment of your imagination, it says exactly what you imagine it says.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@puck61 What if the tornado had unlimited attempts at going through the scrap yard?
In that scenario it becomes inevitable that the car would be put together...many many times over.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Entwistle
What if the tornado had unlimited attempts at going through the scrap yard?
It still wouldn't be able to assemble a Lincoln Navigator in working order.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 Your scenario becomes inevitable given unlimited time.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
It still wouldn't be able to assemble a Lincoln Navigator in working order.
You obviously don't understand the meaning of "infinity". Also, the task becomes much easier if the partial successes of one attempt remain to be built on by a subsequent attempt.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Sharon Theoretically it could happen on the first attempt.
Sharon · F
@Entwistle Of course.
