If humans and chimpanzees did evolve and share a common ancestry how does the creationist explain the following: [Spirituality & Religion]

Chimpanzees use vocalization to communicate but many more gestures and get this: over 95% of the gestures they use are the same gestures used instinctively by babies and toddlers up to age two.

Evolution (as always) explains this readily and logically by the conclusion that humans and chimps shared a common ancestor wherein these instinctive gestures were present.
But how does the evolution-denying creationist account for this shared language?

In total, researchers found the human toddlers used 52 discrete gestures to communicate, including clapping, hugging, stomping, raising their arms and shaking their heads, often stringing the moves together to convey complex ideas. It turns out that the chimps also used 46 of the same gestures, meaning there’s a 90 percent overlap.

same creator
@Ingwe

I've always found this to be a weak answer for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, it applies to god the same limitations that a human would have. Re-using bits and pieces because he can't be bothered to make a novel creation.
Secondly it has no explanatory power because "same creator" as an explanation would then require that we see a number of different animals sharing this basal behaviour.

But we don't which indicates a closer relatedness in humans and chimps. So did god make chimps in his own image? As a practice run for humans?
Your answer must be "god works in mysterious ways" which is of course not an answer but a resignation.
Evolution explains it readily and consistently and i think that's telling.
