If "happy is the one" who smashes the babies of their enemies on rocks..what kind of morality is the bible offering us here?

This was not meant to be a literal statement, rather it is metaphorical & concerns the subject of Babylon, the Jews etc.

Well i don't want an argument. I wouldn't mind a debate. But beyond that, i'd be interested to hear at least a little bit about how, based on your research, you draw the conclusion that this should be taken literally.
