Christians:Can Near Death Experiences (NDEs) be considered evidence of the Christian idea of afterlife when NDEs [Spirituality & Religion]

experienced by people of other faiths result in them experiencing visions appropriate to the culture and religion they were raised in?

That is to say, either NDEs cannot be used to validate the truth of Christianity or NDEs can be used to validate the truth of every religion equally.

I think NDE should be given the same consideration as any other dream
@JoePourMan

Well i would fall more on that side as well. It seems to be a subjective experience and one which can even be reproduced without having to almost die lol

@Pikachu My favorite was where the person described the golden streets of heavenly city in such detail, and then added "even the curbs were made of pure gold"
My question: Why would the streets of heaven have curbs???
@JoePourMan

lol that is a funny detail.

@JoePourMan Curbs made of gold are necessary for the gold Cadillac's, no?

@spjennifer I hadn't thought of that.
