If you mean "something which exists beyond the physical body and survives after it" No. If you mean it's something additional to the brain which makes us who we are. No.
There are no examples of a mind existing without a body. There are many examples of "who we are" being dependent on and altered by damage to the physical brain.
Intrinsically yes, your life or my life has no more value than any other. But that is not the value i place on human life and it's certainly not the value that you place on it. So what point did you think you were making?
