More people now attending churches online [Spirituality & Religion]

It is a fact that the number of people attending church online has actually risen since buildings were closed down!

Yes people are hearing the gospel at home who would never have gone to church. Families where only one person would attend are now all listening!
It's great the way God used technology

@TheWildEcho "... God used technology...", No. God created the physics and biology. Man created and used the "technology".

Not only the Christian gospel, either. Christianity is not the only religion and others are using the Internet similarly.

@ArishMell God is using technology to spread His message to people who would never attended church

@TheWildEcho No it's the preachers using the so-called "technology" and that was invented by people - but if everything in Nature was created by God then you can credit God with two things.

Firstly with the Physics without which not only the Internet but everything else, even us, could not exist. Secondly, with developing us to the point of our being able to understand and use the Laws of Physics in such ways. :-)

You could have a point though about finding followers who might not otherwise attend church, and it will be interesting to see how many do stay with whatever religion (not only Christianity!) they followed on-line, and may even attend services once these are allowed again.

@ArishMell yes it will be interesting to see how many stay!

@TheWildEcho It might even become a common practice, rather like the services already broadcast on TV and radio, though that may risk services becoming more entertainment than sacred communion.

Just one point - the laws of physics were created by God and discovered by man @ArishMell
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Speedyman Errr, that's what I said! (Assuming a God of course.)
Speedyman · 70-79, M
@ArishMell apologies - I missed that post.

@Speedyman Thank you! Easily done in threads like these.
