There's no mention of that in the bible.

In case it hadn’t occurred to you mobile phones and the Internet were not invented in the time of the Bible@goldenorchid

@Speedyman well yes that's obvious ,what has occurred to me is that there's a few prophecies concerning the end of days yet nothing about going to church online, why? Did he not see that coming?

@goldenorchid The prophecy of images that speak in the end times was revealed in the book of revelation.. A first century mans description of a flat screen TV/ monitor.. An image is a flat image.. an image that moves and speaks..
(Revelation 13:15) "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."
(Revelation 13:15) "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

Surely god must have known they were going to be. 🤔

Yes but if you look the book of Revelation is addressed to 7 contemporary churches. You don’t write a letter about things which is so far in the distant future has to be incomprehensible@NortiusMaximus

@Speedyman I believe the message was not simply for the people of those times.. It was a book of prophecy from that time to the end of the world.. too the final judgement.. Same goes for parts of the book of Daniel and Isaiah and other prophets in the OT they had a lot to say about the times in the future all the way up to the final judgement..

@Speedyman Prophecy is about the future.. And no it is not rooted in the times it was given.. I don't know where you are getting these rules of interpreting the Bible.. But i would suggest you take them as being suggestions someone has given to you in the past that where just that persons opinion. Or that religious organizations opinion..

@Speedyman the beauty of the Book of Revelation is that it is so vague as to allow the reader to assign any interpretation he desires to it and no one can counter the interpretation based on the Book of Revelation. Just a side note of interest to me. I never preach out of the Book of Revelation. I base my sermons on three points the Old Testament combined with a Gospel account and a lesson from the Epistles. I find too many people go off the deep end from reading or trying to understand Revelation.

@Speedyman John was on the island of patmos and His book of Revelation came to him in the form of a Vision Speedyman.. So John did not need to know what the TV or screen was, How it worked.. All he needed to do was describe what He saw from a first century persons perspective and the way he described it was pretty good for a first century man..
