That depends on the point of view.
* From a human perspective –
Am I honest? Yes.
Have I killed anyone? No.
Have I committed adultery? No.
Do I obey traffic laws? Yes.
Am I righteous? Yes.
Therefore, from a human point of view, I would be considered to be “good”.
* From God's perspective –
Am I honest? No.
Have I ever committed murder? Yes. (Matt. 5:21)
Have I committed adultery? Yes. (Matt. 5:28)
Have I ever lied? Yes.
Am I righteous? Not hardly!
Therefore, from God’s point of view I am not good.
And according to God, because I’m not good, I have earned death. (Rom. 6:23)
However, since I have put on Christ, I now stand justified before God through Christ. (Gal. 3:27, Rom. 5:21)
