They say God doesn't prove he exists because that would violate free will. How? How does knowing god is real force us to love him? [Spirituality & Religion]

This appears to be the accepted excuse for why literally billions of humans are not going to receive salvation and it appears totally facile as a justification.

Although practically speaking, more merciful.
@Pikachu idk. Seems a lot more loving than making people then setting them on fire. And God is supposed to be more loving than humans. So if I can think of something that loving God is supposed to do even better.
