So about Pslams...Do even you God loving Christians find reading through Psalms to be a bit of a slog? [Spirituality & Religion]

It's just Soooo repetative.
Could we just have like a few lines saying;

"Isn't god just the best? Yes he is the best.
Save from my enemies and punish the wicked, god is just so cool."

I've literally just summed up the 150 psalms that make up that book.
Ta daa!

Do even the you folks who love hearing about how cool god is find this to be a bit much?

@Pikachu Lol I'm really glad this site isn't EP, back in the EP days they set flagging to automatic. I would post some things about religion like Islam and Christianity, nothing bad. For example "who created god?" And it was flagged within minutes so I had to wait for about three months to get my post reinstated.

EP got too big for its pants.

But anyways, I'd hate for that to happen to you but glad SW isn't automatic.

Agreed, the bible has always been a bit much, way melodramatic among other things. I think the same about many Abrahamic religious texts though, they all repeat themselves, almost as if they were trying to drive the points home to idiots in case they didn't understand it the first 100 pages.

They're all so dull.

Psalms = Songs. Songs are often repetitive. Nothing unusual about that . They're songs if worship.
