Oh i saw this guy debate once. Talked a lot about cutting throats and blood and watching the life drain from his opponent's eyes...
Affirmed that if god turned out not to be real he'd definitely try things like bashing his father's skull in again.
So he's not changed, he's just fearful.

I find it problematic that god should be happy to give salvation to a man like that as long as he bends the knee but will send a man to burn forever for the crime of not believing.

Seems rather...[i]human[/i], doesn't it?

@Pikachu Nobody gets sent to burn for not believing. The whole God-Heaven-Hell construct is merely a self-fulfilling prophecy. It only exists and is real for those who believe in it. Conversely, it doesn't exist for those who don't believe. Ergo, it is logically impossible for some kind of damnation to happen to those who don't believe.
