On social media when people ask for prayers, and you say you will pray for them, do you actually say a prayer? [Spirituality & Religion]

Or is the thought that you would pray enough?

PS--This is for those people who are religious. No offense intended to anyone who is not.

As a rule i don't say i am going to pray for another person.. But if i read a prayer request i will pray for that person and their circumstance..

5 "¶ And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
