On social media when people ask for prayers, and you say you will pray for them, do you actually say a prayer? [Spirituality & Religion]

I pray for them and I hope when I've asked they've prayed for me. If there's any act of kindness we could do its pray. Hey, its free.

I mean it, though my idea of prayer might be different than theirs. They all come from the same good intentions.

Yes I do. Right then. But the bible says if you have iniquity in your heart He will not hear you. The key is first to confess it to God, He will forgive you, then pray for others earnestly

I most often write the prayer and leave it as a comment

Sometimes I feel time of the essence and pray direct at that moment

Tip ... when asking for prayers ... people should mention what they need prayers for and a first name

As a rule i don't say i am going to pray for another person.. But if i read a prayer request i will pray for that person and their circumstance..

Yes. If I say I will, then I do. And usually it is right at that moment.

I definitely do and try to pray each day for them. I like and believe in praying with specifics .. name and problem. I pray for a lot of people here that don't even ask me.

Yes I wouldn't say I'd pray if I didn't. Usually I pray for them right away so that I won't forget. If I remember them later I pray for them again.

I mean I will do it if I said so. Yes, I've prayed for strangers. If I know I won't, I just say other supporting words.
