If he allows evil then he is evil. Simple.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Allelse Nope. Nice of you to show your ignorance.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@hippyjoe1955 If God created everything then he created evil. God created evil so God is evil.

God is good. He never created evil to overcome man, it's the other way around. Evil has to exist in order for good to be known and that man is free to choose which He will live his life in.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 He created evil and suffering, therefore he is evil.
TheVegon · 61-69, M
@Allelse You are so wrong about God being evil.
No amount of words will ever show you different.
God is not an intellectual thing to understand.
It is something to feel with our whole being.
😀

No, He's not. He didn't create evil to overcome man, it's the other way around.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@TheVegon Feel with your whole being? Like a mental illness?
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 He created evil, he created suffering he even created the devil. Those are all bad things to create.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Allelse
He created evil, he created suffering he even created the devil. Those are all bad things to create.
God created evil but not to overcome man. He did not create suffering, man brought that onto himself through his disobedience to God's Word. He did not create the devil but He created Lucifer, a beautiful angel that rebelled later inoder to try to take God's throne. Lucifer later became the devil after God kicked him out of heaven. Lucifer didn't have to rebel but he did; Lucifer didn't have to become the devil either, but He did. So, your analogy is wrong in all three areas.

Do not judge the ways of the sighted by the ways of the blind.
Do not judge the ways of the wise by the ways of the foolish
Do not judge the ways of the Eternal by the ways of the temporal.

Amen, brother, amen.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 It wasn't an analogy it was fact, if you create evil then you're evil. And by what you're saying, God couldn't control his creations? And he didn't know what they were going to do? So he's not all powerful and all knowing?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Allelse
It wasn't an analogy it was fact
No way is it a fact. God is good and just and love.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 Then why did he create evil and suffering. That is bad.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Allelse
So you made up the statistics you quoted,
God didn't create suffering, man brought that on himself.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 So you're saying God didn't create everything? So that means he's not all knowing and all powerful?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Allelse
So you're saying God didn't create everything?
Suffering is not something one can create. Like homosexuality, murder, stealing, sickness, mental illness, suffering was brought on mankind at the fall of mankind.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 So god cant control his creation?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Allelse
So god cant control his creation?
He's not a dictator, if that's what you're getting at. If you want to live in perfect world, get saved.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 God created beings he cant control? That means he's not all powerful then. Or he is all powerful and he created those beings to behave in a way contrary to his will. Which is it?
