Christians, Are there any specific verses in the Bible that talks about inviting/asking God into a situation? [Spirituality & Religion]

Of course, God is everywhere(Omnipresent) But is there anything that talks about inviting Him in or examples of other Biblical figures doing this? Thanks in advance!

btw, I'm asking because, I told a friend to ask God into his situation and responded, God is omnipresent, which is true, but... Ya know. 😊

Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving make your requests be known to God and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is the question of God is omnipresent but there is also the question of God’s immanence and the fact that God wants a personal relationship with each one of us. Just look at the prayers of Jesus in the new Testament
