Christians, Are there any specific verses in the Bible that talks about inviting/asking God into a situation? [Spirituality & Religion]

Of course, God is everywhere(Omnipresent) But is there anything that talks about inviting Him in or examples of other Biblical figures doing this? Thanks in advance!

btw, I'm asking because, I told a friend to ask God into his situation and responded, God is omnipresent, which is true, but... Ya know. 😊

NOTE: Any negativity will be deleted, this is not about what right or wrong or who believes is what. I'm asking a question to my Christian community.

God orders Abraham to kill his innocent son. After Abraham did some begging God relents.

@BlueRidingHood Thank you. I am familiar with this story, however, God didn't spare his son because Abraham begged Him not to. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son (yes, innocent), but God wanted to see if Abraham would obey Him. He was testing him. Abraham feared (revered/respected and honored God, so he had no problem doing whatever God asked because he had complete trust in Him.
@sweetiepoo I think it's safe to say that he was reluctantly willing. Nobody wants to kill their children without good explanation. Okay, maybe not the example you're looking for.

@sweetiepoo When we give to God the little we have, he gives us back so much more! He wants us to challenge him on his promises! This is how our faith grows! He has never let me down! He is in the miracle business for those who throw ourselves at his feet! Like a bride at the feet of her beloved, reckless abandon! It’s well worth it to receive heaven for eternity and a heavy prize for what it cost God to save us !

God has a spiritual meaning to this Bible passage to show how we must put God above everything!
And that all sin , a blood sacrifice, death. The Jews were told to sacrifice a lamb for their sins and and put a bloody cross on the door because he loved them, and the angel of death would pass over that household and save their firstborn from death! The angel of death killed all the Egyptian firstborn! The angel of death “passed-overthe Jewish houses and all their firstborn were saved! Jesus is the ultimate sacrificed lamb for the worlds sins! Moses was told to write this story of Abraham sacrificing his son like God sacrificed His Son for the sins of the entire world!
The Bible is amazing and I hope you will give him the Glory and Honor that is due him!

@Carazaa Amen!! He is worthy to be praised!!
@BlueRidingHood Abraham was a man of faith. Totally faithful to God. He did not beg God to spare his son, Isaac. Hebrews 11:19 says, “Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.” He knew that if God wanted him to sacrifice this son, God could raise him back to life. God could still keep his promises and make him his heir. God could do whatever God wants to do.

Abraham trusted God with his best, and God did more with it than Abraham ever could. He made this one child, the father of the Hebrew people. Through Isaac’s descendants, God brought his own Son, who died on his own sacrificial wood, the cross, as our sin offering to God.
